Emery is located four miles south of I-90 along Highway 262 in southeast South Dakota. We are just a short 20 minute drive from Mitchell, SD and 45 minutes from Sioux Falls, SD.

Emery has a park which includes a swimming pool, baseball and softball field, tennis court & more! We are surrounded by beautiful agricultural land and hunting opportunities that draw people from across the country! Emery is a great place to visit or make your home!

The Division of Economic Assistance promotes the wellbeing of and provides support for families, children, individuals, elderly and persons with disabilities.
